These people made me drive all the way from El Paso just to low ball me on an offer to my 2017 trade in. They wanted to run my credit without an offer to my car and once I said no. They low balled my car and the manager didn't even want to speak to me.

Applier for the job and got an interview. Seemed nice enough but they don't even have the professional courtesy to call me back to tell me I didn't get the job. Which is fine to be honest considering they sell vehicles involved in accidents without disclosing that information to the buyer.

Went to Borman to look at buying a vehicle a few months back. The sales person we had spoken with was great. Very knowledgeable and kind. We spent the whole day talking with him, looking at finances talking about different options before making the jump. Eventually we ended up deciding to go for it. Mind you, this was a few hours in. Anyways, we finally end up going to the finance managers office to seal the deal. We start talking and everything at first sounded good. He said let me make a few calls, came back about 30-45 minutes later, and that's where things started to take a turn. Originally we when we had spoken with the sales associate, we were given several print out of financing options after looking at our credit scores and seeing what would best fit our needs. After the finance manager talked with us, he had no idea what we were talking about. They weren't on the same page. He then proceeded to tell us how we must have been mistaken, as what I described didnt exist. I then tracked down the paperwork the other gentleman gave me, and he corrected himself. He then proceeded to tell us that although he couldn't give us that, he called 3 different companies and this is what he could do. I was upset, as we did not discuss him doing that. It resulted in 3 different hits to our credit scores. In addition to that, he was getting upset saying "I'm just trying to help you" when we called him out on it. We left not only not getting a car that day, but very disappointed in the way things were handled. I never got to write this before, and the only reason I remembered now is I checked my credit report, because a decision he made, is now affecting me that way. Be weary of what they say. Salesman was great, the rest not so much.

I was treated terribly by the so called manager at the body shop Rob. I will never refer another person to borman because of this person. The worst customer treatment I have ever received from anybody ever.

Horrible code of ethics. The manager there ran my credit as many times as they could with literally every bank. They wanted to push a truck on me and when I said they didn’t mention they would run my credit with every bank known to man the man argued with me. Sketchy services for sure.

Absolutely disgusting service. My car was recently totaled so my insurance advised me to take my car to them to evaluate the damage only for them to share my information to their salesmen. So, while I'm dealing with my insurance, bills, and stress over everything I have these ANNOYING salesmen hounding me to purchase a car. Abhorrent behavior. Especially given how difficult times are right now, like wow. I'm flabbergasted at the lack of empathy displayed.

Braden was very helpful and was the real reason I went back. We had a difficult time making the decision we made but I knew going back we had made the right decision. Elias was very helpful and knowledgeable and even helped me get my phone connected to the car. Both these guys a real asset to this company. When it was time to sit down with Mr. Espinoza he made the paperwork go pretty smoothly. He even found us a better deal on financing than we went in with. Yes we were preapproved but that didn’t stop him from finding us something better. Borman Autoplex you have made me a happy customer and I know that wasn’t easy.

Was brought a 2015 Ford F-150 to look at and test drive during COVID-19. The truck wasn’t in bad shape but when I asked the sales person, they said it was “perfect” with no damage. I’m fine with being told there are dings and dents on the vehicle. Just be honest. But don’t tell me something is “perfect” when it’s not. There was some badly touched up dings on the right rear door and dents in the tailgate. Once again, just be honest and tell me there are dings or dents. After a couple of seconds of being around the truck I could smell burning oil and red flags started going off. I turned the truck off to look around a bit. The sales person went on about how meticulous their mechanics are. After some looking around I went to start up the truck. Heard cranking and I stopped. Was the truck on? Nope. Tried again. Cranking. Nothing. Dash says charging system needs service. The sales person proceeded to make up random things about her leaving the truck on so the battery is probably dead. She gets in the truck and mashes the gas while cranking to start it up. Told her no thanks and she left. Didn’t get a sorry. Nothing. Waste of time. We told the sales manager that we saw the truck and it wouldn’t even start for a test drive. His response? “Ok.” Once again. No sorry. Not, “Let me show you something else. I can get you a good deal on a different vehicle.” Didn’t try to earn my business and didn’t care to make it right that they tried to sell a $23k dud to me Just a good ole’ “Ok.” I’ll recommend to everyone I know to not go to Borman. Waste of time and a waste of money.

I went to Borman last year with a pre-approval from my bank and after finding a vehicle I wanted, I told the salesman that I did not want my credit report run, but he asked for a pre-approval letter from my bank which I didn't have (at that time I didn't know that I could request one from my bank). The salesman at Borman then told me that if I give him my SSN he could contact my bank and and request the letter. The salesman promised me that he would only contact my bank and not run my credit. He promised three more times that he would not run my credit and I did not sign anything authorizing him to do so. After negotiating, we could not reach a deal and I left. Later that day, I found out that he did run my credit and he did not tell me. I have asked Borman to remove the inquiry but they have refused to do so. I have filed a complaint with the New Mexico State Attorney's office and now with the BBB. My credit was hurt by their deceptive practices and I strongly warn anyone going to Borman to think twice. I have also contacted my bank -which does a lot of military business - and filed a complaint with them in an effort to protect my military brothers and sisters from this dealership.

Braden Tidwell and Elias Holguin made buying a car simple, hassle free, and an exciting experience. We were able to bring home a beautiful Honda CR-V ES with a great monthly payment, $0 down. Even with the current situation Borman Autoplex was able to do help us find the right fit. My car is 20 years old, in great shape but it was time to up grade. I really didn’t like the color of or CR-V but another customer told me you are inside more than outside. If you are happy with the inside the color will grow on you. Dog gone it if she wasn’t right. I’m coming around to the color and the reason I got it that was the only CR-V ES on the lot. This is my first Honda always had Chevy’s before. Can't think of another dealership I’d rather work with. I called Borman Auto Plex on 05/05/2020 asking about pricing on a 4x4 Ford 150 Crew Cab. After being connected to the finance dept I was assured they would call me back within the hour on some prices. Needless to say they never bothered to call me back but that's ok. I ended up buying a better truck at Bravo Chevrolet on that same day. Bravo Chevrolet knows how to treat their customers.

I give them one star only because zero stars is not an option. I just got off the phone with the sales manager and the service manager Both of whom were incredibly rude. I called in because I had concerns about the fact that none of their service personnel is wearing masks. They were no help, they were defensive, and they demonstrated that they do not care at all about the health and well-being of their customers. The service managers answer was we are following the CDC guidelines (they are not) and it’s hard to find masks. Not good enough, sorry.

The State of New Mexico has not mandated masks be worn at this point, and our current policy is to leave it to the employee as to whether or not they want to wear a mask based on their own personal health situation. Borman Autoplex made buying a car simple, hassle free, and an exciting experience. We were able to bring home a beautiful Honda CR-V EX-L with a great monthly payment, $0 down. Even with the current situation Borman Autoplex was able to do our financing over the phone without us having to go to the dealership. Nate Miller was great in answering all of our questions and Christina was wonderful and extremely helpful with financing. They even delivered our vehicle and paper work to us. We bought our first Honda Civic with Borman Honda and now we've added a second vehicle with them. Can't think of another dealership we'd rather work with. When I went to pick my car up from the service center, my passenger seat was so far down it wouldn’t come back up, they had no business in the passenger side at all. I was hit on the driver side my bumper and headlight had fallen off the car. When I I needed them to come and get it they had told me that they can only come in city limits they only fixed the cosmetic of my car. My radiator was shifted from the accident. The mechanic Chris said that there is no way for that to happen. They took out dents from my car that was not related to the accident and painted almost all of my car but engine work they did not do. I have been pulled over 3 times because my head light won’t stay on and they will not fix what they touched on my car. They fixed my passenger seAt when they claim my battery is bad it wasn’t bad. They said they were going to look at the cameras they failed to do that. They broke the bottom of my glovebox. They also said they were going to pay for the remainder of the rental they failed to do that

We have been looking at the Hyundai Palisade, but could not find what we wanted in El Paso, Texas. We called Borman Autoplex, in Las Cruces, NM, and spoke with Nathan Miller, Sales Professional to see if they had any Palisades in stock. Ten minutes later he sent us pictures of what they had along with specs. Nathan was extremely responsive via phone and text that we headed to the dealership. Nathan was ready with the vehicle of our choice, took the time to show us the features, answered any questions we had with no pressure. We bought the vehicle within 4 hours of making our first contact with Nathan! Thank you Nathan and Borman Autoplex for being so attentive and responsive to our needs! Will definitely go back when we get ready to buy a second car!

We bought a brand new vehicle here. Unfortunately, our experience was not pleasant. When trying to sell an extended warranty, the finance manager lied and said no company will pay for the computer system on an extended warranty. We said Geico does and he said, "No they don't. I have Geico too and their extended warranty doesn't cover it. You'll never have another chance to buy this coverage if you don't accept it now." Well, I called Geico and they DO cover the computer system on the extended warranty. We cancelled this coverage with the dealership within 12 hours. That was 4 months ago and they still have our $2200. A finance manager who lies and then keeps the money even though we canceled within 12 hours on a Saturday morning. I recommend you save yourself the drama of this dealership and find a reputable dealership in El Paso or even Tucson Arizona. This mistake of buying from this dealership cost me $2200 and lots of frustration. I hope we can save someone else this trouble.

I want to thank Elias Holguin Bruce Weinrich and Martin Espinoza for their patience, their hospitality and the most amazing Customer Service we have ever received when purchasing a vehicle When you don’t have good credit it’s very difficult and painful So when we needed a vehicle ( not wanting to buy a used vehicle) we filled out the online credit application that Borman Auto had on its website Living in reality I didn’t think we would qualify ( bankruptcy and previous foreclosure) Filled it out anyway and to my surprise I received a call from a wonderful sales agent named Elias. His first impression was wonderful. We spoke for about 20 minutes I explained our situation and he made me feel like confident He gave me his cell phone number if I had any questions or concerns before going to the lot My husband and I went to the lot hoping to find a fairly good deal (due to our credit) not thinking that we would be able to purchase a higher end vehicle ( thought we would only qualify for low end ) Well with their hard work and dedication to good customer service we were able to purchase in November 2019 a beautiful 2020 HyundaiThank you to these wonderful hard working men. They work hard and long hours to help put people with low credit into a vehicle So I know a lot of people have opinions of their experience and expectations( with Borman) but let’s be real when you have low credit or really bad credit it’s not their fault they do everything in their power to help you which they did Thank you guys! I would give a 0 if possible. I had been talking to the internet manager for a long time looking for s specific car and deal. At Christmas, he contacted me saying it was there and that I should come in. I did and he spent a lot of time trying to up sell me. I wasted over 3.5 hours there. Then, without speaking of price, (partly my fault), he directed me to "the" car for a test drive and when all was said and done, I wanted it until he came in with a price from the sales manger that was over 4 thousand dollars more that the deal I was looking for. He lied just to get me in there as they did not have "that"car. They were willing to make a deal on the one he wanted me to buy, about $3300 dollars more than what I had told him I wanted to spend. They were amazed when I got up and walked out. i will never go back and I will tell anyone who will listen what crocks they are. It is too bad as the previous time I had shopped there, I liked the salesman and bought the car. He took care of me. There was a little problem then but nothing I could not overlook. This time, however, it was a blatant switch and bate. Liars, cheats, and thieves!

After buying two different cars from Borman Honda Autoplex, I knew that when my interest for a third car I would be going back. I contacted Ray Horvath salesman about my interest in purchasing a third Honda. I didn't have a friend available to take me to the dealership and he personally came to my home and picked me up. I test drove the vehicle back to Borman, a drive of about 11miles. Ray one again made my experience very pleasant. Ray made my time at the dealership well spent. I was quick onto negotiations and quick into the finance office. Ray knew what I wanted and made it possible to get the color and all the specification I was looking for on my Honda Accord LX 2020. After about 4hrs at the dealership it was lunch time and I made sure I returned to thank him for his honesty and guidance during my purchase. I bought him his favorite meal, WHATABURGER!! Double meat, double cheese and you can't forget the Bacon. Fries and a large unsweet Tea. Thanks again and again and again RAY.

In the past fifteen years my wife and I have purchased all our cars at Bormans. From trucks to cars and SUV’s. All went okay, in the purchase side. My wife takes what she calls “my car” to be services at the dealership. Her dime so I am okay. This last time we took our CRV for an oil change. They told her she needed to have plugs replaced, antifreeze drained, transmission drained and changed for a whopping $800.00 and over. When I tested the transition fluid, it was at the excellent level. The plugs were very clean.. the anti freeze had just been changed. So I called and asked if these services were suggested due to mileage and age of the car. They said no, they tested or examined the CRV and they were needed. Folks, please beware! My wife is a sweetheart, and they attempted to take advantage of her. She paid for the oil change, and nothing else. They made it sound like if this serves were not done now, the car may start acting up. That was false! I will look for a new place to do business even if I have to drive else where! Can you imagine paying $800.00 for services not needed!!!???

We apologize for the misunderstanding; however the vehicle that we serviced on 11/22/19, repair order number 923630, is not your 2018 Honda CR-V. The vehicle we serviced was your 2014 Honda Civic with 154,563 miles. Our records indicate the the last time the transmission fluid was changed was on repair order 789120, on 3/31/16 at 76,298 miles. Transmission fluid on this CV-T Transmission should be changed every 60,000 miles. Spark plugs are recommended every 100,000 miles and anti-freeze at 120,000 miles. I do show that your 2018 CR-V with only 8,733 miles was in on 11/11/19, repair order 922427. There were no recommendations for your 2018 CR-V since this newer vehicle has low mileage. We are considering a few suvs, so went to Borman to try a few. At second blush the salesman seemed ok (after being too talkative at the outset). But then after we established which vehicle we liked the best, we began talking about trade-in value. He brought out NADA information, noting that Kelly blue book was not reliable, and noted all the minuses for our vehicle. He went to the sales manager a few times for instruction? Then he kept pushing and pushing. We said we had to leave, as being pushed is not a good sales technique for us and we assume others. When we got home, we looked up the NADA information on our own and saw that the Borman sales team had neglected all the positives for our vehicle (low mileage, some major trim upgrades, etc.) which would have resulted in a significantly higher trade-in value. So they purposely misrepresented the trade in value. In retrospect it was a negative experience with dishonest car salesmen, typical car salesman behavior?

My wife and I recently purchased a 2019 Lincoln MKZ from Borman Ford in Las Cruces, NM. The salesman was Frank Marquez and he did an outstanding job demonstrating the many features on this car that had them all. With so many features, it would be understandable if Frank might need to consult the manual for some of them, but he was completely familiar with them all and answered all questions accurately and without hesitation. After that first day with Frank, we had pretty much made our decision, but we slept on it over night, and came back the next day for additional orientation by Frank and to sign all of the paperwork. I once had a friend who used to say that it doesn't make any difference whether a deal is good or bad, but only whether or not the salesman makes you feel good about it. Frank mad us feel good about this deal and it really was a pretty good deal anyway.

Terrible!!! Stay away... - After 3 or more hours negotiating, they came up with a price for a new vehicle, and a trade-in price for my current vehicle. As always, they requested my signature on the offer and we were agree on the terms. When I was signing the paperwork, and the new vehicle was taken to fill up with gas and wash it over, some one said that a mistake was made, and they could not honor the offer made. I was mad, spoke with the sales manager, with no result. Two days later, I spoke with the General Manager Bruce Weinrich, who apologize, but did not change anything about respecting the deal they previously offered. He basically spitted on his company name and reputation....He did not take any responsibility for the mistake made by his team, or tried to compensate some how the situation. Please do not give any more business to this company with no idea about customer service and formality...

My transmission had a problem in my 2002 Honda Accord as we were passing through Las Cruces, NM. I was pleased to see there was a full service Honda Dealer within a mile. They looked at my transmission, supposedly, and within way too short of a time made a diagnosis that would have required dismantling the transmission. Then they told us that they wanted OVER FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS TO FIX IT, and said that my transmission had be replaced. Not having $5K on me, we drove to a used car dealer, completely separate from Borman, and asked if their mechanic could look at it. Within one hour it was fixed for a total of $120. Whomever wrote these glowing advertisement like reviews did not go to the same place I did. Do yourself a favor. Get a quote of the complete price including everything by e-mail before going there. If they won't do it, that tells you something. First time they try to pull a fast one, walk out the door. I'm not even talking used here, buying new makes you want to take a shower.

Outstanding Customer Service - I'm a military member from Holloman AFB, and I recently purchased a 2012 Hyundai Elantra from Borman. I have more than my share of cars over my 48 years of life and I must say that this was my absolute best buying experience to date. The young lady who sold me the car was outstanding. At the time of my purchase, the demand for this model far exceeded the supply and some dealers were selling them above MSRP. These cars was literally selling as fast as they were being unloaded from the trucks. There was no haggling. I had done my research and I knew how these cars were selling. I was more than happy to pay MSRP for this particular model. Borman not only sold me the car at a fair price, they also gave me a military discount, which I didn't even ask for. I can't say enough about the fine customer service I received during the sale and even weeks afterwards they followed up with me to ensure I was still happy. I'll definitely buy from them again.

Go for Duane - I was really taken good care by Duane. He is nice, patient, and most important, he is honest. He tells you everything he know, never play tricks on the deal. If you are looking for a Hyundai in this area, just go directly to Borman Autoplex, and you have to ask for Duane! Any Hyundai dealership in Albuquerque, Roswell, Tucson or even Phoenix can't beat the price in Borman. Duane, he is the best salesman I've ever seen in other Auto dealers.

One price deal a promissed - Thanks to Sara we got what we wanted at the price we were looking to pay. It took a little while to get though the dealership process but we are happy with the car. This is our 6th vehicle we have bought from this dealer in 20 years.

Mazda 3 for our son - My wife and I bought a new Mazda 3 for our son recently. We decided to let him go to the dealerships by himself so he could experience shopping for a car on his own. He did all his own research online and then visited the dealerships with the cars on his buy list. He decided on a Mazda 3 from Borman Mazda. We did the final sales transaction with our son but he did most of the work on his own. We were very impress with the way his salesman helped him and treated him. It was a very good experience for our family.

Best buying experience ever - I recently bought a new Honda CR-V from Borman Autoplex, and had a great experience. My salesperson was very friendly, and when he didn't have an answer about something (satellite radio pre-wiring), he found out. The price was very fair, and better than the other area Honda dealers by hundreds of dollars. I've bought many cars over the years, but never as easily and professionally - and affordably! - as I did at Borman! Highly recommend!
