I just purchased a new vehicle here and I would like to take a minute to thank Fabian V., Mike W. and David S. for making my experience pleasant and smooth. I was in a bad situation with negative equity in my current trade-in and when it seemed like I would never get out of that bad decision vehicle, they stepped in, worked together to offer me different scenarios to best suit my needs, and helped me find a vehicle that I both loved and that put me back into positive equity. After a couple of negative experiences in El Paso we requested a quote from Boreman for a new vehicle we had in mind. They responded promptly and from that moment on they made the car purchasing experience pleasant and stress free. We spoke to John Devore on the phone and he was upfront with the information we needed. We drove to Las Cruces the next day to meet with him and look at the car. He had the car ready and spent time with us looking at different options. He was respectful and sincere and patient, truly understood our needs and gave us the time and space for us to process our options. He answered all our questions and guided us to make the whole experience enjoyable. We are very pleased with the purchase.

Finance manager, Luis Renteria, keeps submitting credit applications unnecessarily to lending institutions in retaliation for purchasing a vehicle from a different dealership, which is lowering my credit score. Returned a new vehicle to Borman, which upset this guy and he’s trying to lower my credit score by submitting unnecessary credit inquiries. Save yourself time and money if you’re in the market for a new vehicle.

We were lied to from the start. A deal was agreed upon that the TT&L would be included in the asking price of the vehicle as a discount. We purchased all kinds of extended warranties and left with our vehicle. Upon further examination of the contract when we got home we noticed that the asking price and the TT&L were both in the contract. When I called them to tell them about the discrepancy about what was agreed upon and what was actually done, they told me that they never pay the TT&L. I told them that the amount of the TT&L was supposed to a discount from the asking price. I was told that they don't do that and there must have been a misunderstanding. FINE! I was then contacted by them to tell me that they have the second key to my vehicle and that they would send it to me since we live in a neighboring city. Two weeks later I had yet to receive the key. I called and texted the salesman a couple of times to check on the key situation. He was never available so I would leave my contact information but I was never contacted back. Two and a half weeks later I went by and they told me it was sent out. They said that if they should get it back, as return to sender, they would contact me. Again NOTHING. A week before the temporary license plates that were issued were due to expire I contacted them to see if they have had received the proper one. I was told since I lived in Texas that they usually take longer and they would issue and email me another temporary plate if they didn't get it in time. We called them on the day they expired and we were told they couldn't do anything till they actually expired. I again called them two days after they had expired and had to demand to speak to someone who could help me with the license plate and key situation because of course the salesman was unavailable. The manager then finally told me that they need me to go get the inspection sticker in order for them to be able to get my licence plates. I was also told by him that he would get me another key and to take the vehicle in when I take the inspection paperwork in order for them to program it. I told him I would be there in a few hours. I turned in the inspection paperwork to the most rude, foul mouthed manager I have ever dealt with. I told him that I was never told I needed to get the inspection and got no response. He had the salesman take me to the service center, who left me there, to get the promised key. The service center made me the key but told me that since I didn't have an appointment they could not program it and I would have to come back even though I was told by the manager to bring the vehicle to get it done at that time. I went back to the manager and advise him of the situation. He said that he told me would get me another key but that he didn't say when. As I was trying to tell him that he told me to bring the vehicle in when I brought the paperwork he cut me off and walked away. As I was leaving I expressed to the manager that he needs to realize that there is a key to my vehicle in an envelope with my address somewhere out there. Without saying a word he walked away again. My daughter who was with me at the time, called the executive assistant to inform them of the situation. They were then able to immediately program the key. We have yet to see what can and will be done about the lost key and how they will make my vehicle safe.

My husband and I purchased a new Honda from Borman less than one month ago. The salesperson was very friendly and we trusted everything he said. The salesperson enthusiastically also sold us on a 3M plastic coating for the front of the car to protect it from dings caused by rocks. The cost was several hundred dollars but he was able to get the cost reduced a few hundred dollars to $600. The salesperson said that the coating had a lifetime warranty. We had the coating put on the car the following week at the dealership. When my husband picked up the car, the paperwork that he was handed said that there was a "limited" warranty for only 5 years. When my husband called the salesperson for an explanation, he asked if we would like to have the coating removed or a refund. The salesman said to "let him check on that" and he'd get back to us. The salesman called back and said that in their training session, all of the salespeople were told that this product had a lifetime warranty. He also said that Borman was not willing to do anything about the miscommunication. We felt misled so my husband went back to Borman and spoke with one of the managers. The manager was kind and interested in "customer feedback" but still did not offer any kind of recompensation for their mistake. He did say that in their next training session, they would be sure and address this issue.

The salesperson spent a lot of time with us and was willing to let us test drive the vehicles in which we were interested as many times as necessary. However, when it came to making a deal it was all shenanigans. We asked for a bottom line on two different vehicles, both a lease and a purchase price, and they refused to do that. We had to pick one vehicle. Why not give us a comparison? Then it was all the back and forth shenanigans with "make us an offer"; well it's only good if you commit TODAY; everything had to go back to the sales manager. Such a huge waste of time! At another dealership we were able to get a lease and purchase quote within 10 minutes; different iterations as we requested for length of lease, mileage etc. We spent over two hours haggling back and forth with the salesperson and the sales manager and could never get a real breakdown of how they arrived at what our monthly payments would be. Also, they pulled a credit report before we even made a deal, which other dealerships do NOT do. This is not a reflection on the sales staff, but on the management of this dealership. They are not transparent - just want to play games and waste your time. They show no respect for their customers.

As a part of a repair, a new door was installed and painted. Additional areas were painted but unfortunatley flaws in the paint were apparent within days. I took my vehicle in several times for the imperfections to be repaired. They claimed that they buffed the area but the appearance continued to deteriorate to the point where flecks of paint were falling off of the door. The previous (manufacturers) paint job lasted in excell of 10 years without these issues. The did not resolve the issue even thougth is was still under warently and they were informed of the issues promptlly after initial repair. I had 3 other repairs that I was happy with but I will not be returning as this was the most costly repair with the least acceptable results.

I responded to an ad on cars.com. I received two automated responses from the dealership. The first from a "manager" and the second from a salesman. The second response said the car was being processed and that I would be contacted in a few days. Never heard a word after that.

I researched trucks and what features I wanted. Frank M was my sales man, I gave him what features I wanted and what my budget was. Frank never forced me to spend more then I had and worked with me. He found me a truck and let me test drive others just to make sure I was getting the truck I wanted. After I test drove, the finance department worked with me to get the truck within budget. It was a great experience. I recommend going with Frank and the fiance department at Borman to get your next car.

Our sales person " vanessa moreno" was very professional. She did all in her experience to meet our needs in finding the car we were looking for. She gave us several options from different males and models until we found our new 2018 honda crv. We're definitely going to recommend borman autoplex & specifically her as their sales person.

Terrible!!! Stay away... - After 3 or more hours negotiating, they came up with a price for a new vehicle, and a trade-in price for my current vehicle. As always, they requested my signature on the offer and we were agree on the terms. When I was signing the paperwork, and the new vehicle was taken to fill up with gas and wash it over, some one said that a mistake was made, and they could not honor the offer made. I was mad, spoke with the sales manager, with no result. Two days later, I spoke with the General Manager Bruce Weinrich, who apologize, but did not change anything about respecting the deal they previously offered. He basically spitted on his company name and reputation....He did not take any responsibility for the mistake made by his team, or tried to compensate some how the situation. Please do not give any more business to this company with no idea about customer service and formality...

My transmission had a problem in my 2002 Honda Accord as we were passing through Las Cruces, NM. I was pleased to see there was a full service Honda Dealer within a mile. They looked at my transmission, supposedly, and within way too short of a time made a diagnosis that would have required dismantling the transmission. Then they told us that they wanted OVER FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS TO FIX IT, and said that my transmission had be replaced. Not having $5K on me, we drove to a used car dealer, completely separate from Borman, and asked if their mechanic could look at it. Within one hour it was fixed for a total of $120. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE HONDA DEALER AT BORMAN. THEY VERY DEFINITELY TRIED TO RIP US OFF. THEY KNEW WE WERE DRIVING HOME TWO THOUSAND MILES AND TRIED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OUR SITUATION.

Whomever wrote these glowing advertisement like reviews did not go to the same place I did. Do yourself a favor. Get a quote of the complete price including everything by e-mail before going there. If they won't do it, that tells you something. First time they try to pull a fast one, walk out the door. I'm not even talking used here, buying new makes you want to take a shower.

Outstanding Customer Service - I'm a military member from Holloman AFB, and I recently purchased a 2012 Hyundai Elantra from Borman. I have more than my share of cars over my 48 years of life and I must say that this was my absolute best buying experience to date. The young lady who sold me the car was outstanding. At the time of my purchase, the demand for this model far exceeded the supply and some dealers were selling them above MSRP. These cars was literally selling as fast as they were being unloaded from the trucks. There was no haggling. I had done my research and I knew how these cars were selling. I was more than happy to pay MSRP for this particular model. Borman not only sold me the car at a fair price, they also gave me a military discount, which I didn't even ask for. I can't say enough about the fine customer service I received during the sale and even weeks afterwards they followed up with me to ensure I was still happy. I'll definitely buy from them again.

Go for Duane - I was really taken good care by Duane. He is nice, patient, and most important, he is honest. He tells you everything he know, never play tricks on the deal. If you are looking for a Hyundai in this area, just go directly to Borman Autoplex, and you have to ask for Duane! Any Hyundai dealership in Albuquerque, Roswell, Tucson or even Phoenix can't beat the price in Borman. Duane, he is the best salesman I've ever seen in other Auto dealers.

Mazda 3 for our son - My wife and I bought a new Mazda 3 for our son recently. We decided to let him go to the dealerships by himself so he could experience shopping for a car on his own. He did all his own research online and then visited the dealerships with the cars on his buy list. He decided on a Mazda 3 from Borman Mazda. We did the final sales transaction with our son but he did most of the work on his own. We were very impress with the way his salesman helped him and treated him. It was a very good experience for our family.

Best buying experience ever - I recently bought a new Honda CR-V from Borman Autoplex, and had a great experience. My salesperson was very friendly, and when he didn't have an answer about something (satellite radio pre-wiring), he found out. The price was very fair, and better than the other area Honda dealers by hundreds of dollars. I've bought many cars over the years, but never as easily and professionally - and affordably! - as I did at Borman! Highly recommend!
